Position Description
HDR is an engineering, architectural and consulting firm that excels at complex projects and solving challenges for a wide multitude of clients.
More than 8,000employee-owners, including engineers, architects, scientists, planners and construction managers, in over 185 locations nationwide, pool their strengths to provide solutions beyond the scope of traditional E/A/C firms.
Our engineering professionals provide services to clients in the areas of transportation, environmental sciences, water/wastewater, environmental resource management and large power delivery projects constructed nationwide.

It is our goal to provide the training, mentoring and workload required to develop our professionals into fully competent service providers.
To support this goal, we encourage all of our engineering team not only to be leaders in their respective areas of technical expertise but to also learn key consulting skills such as managing budgets and schedules, communicating with clients, marketing/business development, and presenting to various audiences. We offer over 40 in-house training programs to assist with developing these skills. This approach allows our employees to develop professionally and pursue various career paths without ever leaving the HDR family.
